Turning Biomass into Energy

All natural organisms, living or dead, can be made into biomass. Things like decomposing plants, fungi. dead animals, wood chips- what is typically thought of as trash.You can burn the materials, collect methane from fungus, add yeast and create ethanol, or convert it into gas and liquid fuels- conversion.
Even when burned, every bit of biomass- including the smoke that comes from burning- is a source of energy.
